Who Is a Candidate for Chemical Peels?
Candidates for chemical peels are people who have unwanted, noticeable skin conditions such as wrinkles, fine lines, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation. Candidates should be in overall good health, non-smokers, and free from any active infections.
Contraindications for chemical peels are active bacterial, viral, or fungal infections, a history of facial cancer, and inflammatory skin conditions such as psoriasis or dermatitis.
